Wedding photographers in Cumbria, The Lake District – Derwent Photography

It’s not every day you get asked to photograph a photographer but the other week I had the pleasure of shooting Cockermouth photographer,  Abby Nelson and her partner David out on the lake district fells.

It was cold, and Abby did get wet feet slipping in the stream, but hopefully it was worth it! Click read more for  a sneak preview of some images.

Having spent a small fortune on new lights, and with some other plans afoot I am starting the Kodak Promo’s a bit early as I can’t wait to get stuck in. Having been in the finals 2 years running I’m determined to win it next year

It is of course, also an ideal opportunity for xmas presents!

I’m looking for all sorts of subjects, babies, families, adults, children, pets are all eligible.

Don’t hang around tho, these sessions are limited to certain midweek days and they usually get filled up.

Sandra brought her husband and twin daughters in for a family shoot last week, here are some images from the session.

Claire and James brought their new baby, Miles in for their second watch me grow session. 3 weeks old and what a strong boy, with loads of hair too! Friends and family can see the whole photo shoot here

When Kaitlyn and Wilfred came in for their studio portrait session, Wilfred was very shy. He couldn’t resist going to see his more outgoing sister tho and thats when we managed to get some shots of him
