Sunny is 18 weeks old, and a very well behaved puppy, here he is, and one with his sidekicks, Ella and Rocco, both of whom I have photographed before.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had the pleasure of meeting Stella a couple of days ago, a three legged dalmation with odd coloured eyes and an insatiable curiosity about everything

NW Professional Photographer awards 2009

After our success in the first round of the Kodak Portrait Awards, we thought we would enter the annual Master Photographer NW England regional awards, aand were pleasantly surprised to come away with a clutch of 8 awards from the evenings presentation ceremony near Manchester.  Including the coveted title Fashion and Beauty photographer of the year 2009 for the region and the silver in reportage wedding photography, the silver in Under 5′s portraiture and a  bronze in fine art, as well as 2 merit awards in pets and merit awards in fashion and beauty and fine art.

A great wedding, it started off at Greystoke Castle

The flowers were quite different, a fantastic job by Jayne Thompson of Flower Design of Lytham

and they also supplied rose petals to be used as confetti!

We grabbed some shots in the castle grounds quickly,

then it was off to Rheged for the wedding reception….

Olga, the rheged wedding coordinator had done a great job of the room, helped by the flower arrangments from Flower Design

then it was their turn

We had a great day for Lindsay and Adam’s wedding at The Netherwood Hotel in Grange Over Sands. They were a great couple to shoot, and as both were extremely good looking, getting good shots of them was like shooting fish in a barrel. The sunlight also brought out Lindsay’s incredible blue eyes fantastically well. I had a stroke of deja vu when we bumped into the video team, the very professional Fluid Productions of Keswick; as I had only photographed Andy with his wife and new baby about 3 weeks previously. The ever practical Lindsay, having no further use for her absolutely gorgeous dress, now has it up for sale. The dress is by a designer called Suzanne Neville and is an ascuitto special (made from duchess satin) and anyone interested can contact Lindsay by email at Lindsay.Kilifin@bellsoflazonby.co.uk.

Podgy Paws, the keswick pet shop run by pete and chris, and of course their boxer sugs! have moved premises to a much bigger location on tithebarn st. With the tag line, everything for the outdoor dog, it is a popular stop for visitors and locals alike.

We are pleased to announce our pet promotion, run in conjunction with Podgy Paws.
